What is Etizolam?
Etilaam or Pasaden or Depas is a Research Chemical which has gained huge popularity in the UK and Europe for providing a unique research opportunity due to it being one of only few Benzodiazepine analogues for research. It is technically a thienodiazepine due to it have a thiopene ring in place of the benzene ring. The benzene ring is found commonly within prescribed benzodiazepines such as Diazepam or Valium. Acting as a full agonist at the benzodiazepine receptor, many researchers have chosen Etizolam for its high affinity and unique structure. It is only licence in the UK for in vitro (outside living organism) properties, however, based on its profiling in other countries as a prescription drug, it has been shown to possess, hypnotic, anticonvulsant, anxiolytic, amnesic, and sedative properties.

What is Etizolam Used for?
As Its a research chemical, it may not be used under any circumstances in the UK for in vivo testing. This means that scientist have utilised it in vitro for chemically profiling the GABAA receptor to which it is known to bind allosterically. As a full agonist at this receptor, scientists may record the affinity and exact mechanism of action it has upon the binding site, using a membrane infused with the GABAA receptor. Our Etizolam comes in pelleted form with exactly 1mg or 2mg of pure of Etizolam for ease of application in the lab. Due to it being so active at such a low amount, it is imperative that it remains in a pelleted form to avoid accidental spillage and inhalation. Etizolam may be used as a GC/MS, FTIR or NMR reference sample for those wishing to compile a large database of chemical data. Chemists may also use Etizolam as a reagent.
